(Audio) Jay-Z says at one point in time "Prodigy was the best emcee in the game..."

He also talks about the Takeover/Ether debate. He says as a "record" Takeover is "100 times better....". What do you think?

  2. concerning just the lyrical skill i think there has definitely been a downfall but on the other hand mobb deep still are much closer to their original sound as many other artists incl. Jay-Z... they been in the game for 17-18 years now and still manage to make good music and to stay relevant and "mainstream" enough to get good deals but they also still kicking real shit aside from that glamour party maybach kind of sh*t. At the end of a day music is their profession and they got to deal with those A&R's and dump it down if told to in order to make a living and save some cash for the future when they not rapping nomore

"Nuclear Winter represents many things. It represents dark times in our lives, it represents the state of NY hip hop & how I feel about it, & it represents my blueprint on how I think the music should be done going forward into the future. This is my manifesto to all the people that doubted me & the kryptonite to all selfishness. It's a journey from darkness into light, & from bondage & the huge amounts of weight on our shoulders to breaking free and regaining our freedom. Nuclear Winter we're coming to take shine....." - Willie Maze
