(Artist Spotlight/Video) J.A.E [ @JAEyachts ] - ''Second Lap'' (Prod. By MG)

J.A.E was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina (aka "Fayettenam"), but quickly moved to Brooklyn, NY at the tender age of three months. J.A.E was raised in Brooklyn until he was 11 years of age when his mother then gathered up their belongings and returned to her roots of North Carolina -- but this time in the city of Charlotte.

Attracted by the Southern comfort of the Carolinas, he quickly took ...to the rap game. Upon enterting high school, he began to enter rap battles going by the name J.A.E. Due to one parent living back up North in New York and the other in the South, he traveled back and forth every winter and summer, keeping his Brooklyn tone in perfect balance with his Carolina chill, all the while honing his craft. Later, at the age of 18, he entered the studio for the first time learning how to record songs instead of focusing solely on the art of freestyling.

Following influences such as The Notorious B.I.G, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z and Nas, J.A.E crafted the art of storytelling and still does so until this day. Hungry for success and for his voice to be heard, J.A.E shares his freestyles and recorded material via Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and various other social networking avenues, building a fan base that gets stronger by the day. He now permanently resides in New York City in hopes that someone will take notice of his neverending work ethic and give him a shot to showcase his talent.

(Video) @ActionBronson & Party Supplies - ''Hookers at the Point'' (Dir. by @RikCordero )

With the most intriguing collaboration since Public Enemy & Anthrax, Action Bronson & Party Supplies have crafted a hypnotic joint that takes us to the streets of Hunts Point in 1993. Inspired by the classic HBO documentary of the same name, Action offers up a shocking first hand account from the stunted lives of streetwalkers: Cyndi, a prostitute addicted to crack, Silk, a violent, misogynistic pimp and RamĂłn, a former athlete turned junkie. Directed by Rik Cordero.

Blue Chips is a project that allows me to give something back to all the people who have been supporting me during the last year. Party Supplies and myself linked up in the late fall and over the span of a few weeks created this project entirely off the cuff. We didn't over think it, we just had fun making music with no pressures of making a "hit song", clearing of samples or sales expectations. - Action Bronson

"Nuclear Winter represents many things. It represents dark times in our lives, it represents the state of NY hip hop & how I feel about it, & it represents my blueprint on how I think the music should be done going forward into the future. This is my manifesto to all the people that doubted me & the kryptonite to all selfishness. It's a journey from darkness into light, & from bondage & the huge amounts of weight on our shoulders to breaking free and regaining our freedom. Nuclear Winter we're coming to take shine....." - Willie Maze
