As I stated previously, Killah Priest is one of my top 5 favorite emcees of all time. While Priest isn't your conventional top 5 pick, my reasons have more to do with the substance of his work. Most of his lyrics are based off biblical scripture and I've always been fascinated with ancient texts and civilizations. This is why I've never really considered him as being a part of the Wu, because the content of his music is something completely different.
A great example of this, is his first album entitled "Heavy Mental". If you never had a chance to peep this record, I suggest you find a way to get your hands on it. At times Priest's flow is rough around the edges but his wordplay has always been top quality. Below is one of my favorite cuts off the album, but it's only a small sample of what else is on the album.

(Classic Spotlight) Killah Priest - One Step / Fake MC [Video]
Featured Release
"Nuclear Winter represents many things. It represents dark times in our lives, it represents the state of NY hip hop & how I feel about it, & it represents my blueprint on how I think the music should be done going forward into the future. This is my manifesto to all the people that doubted me & the kryptonite to all selfishness. It's a journey from darkness into light, & from bondage & the huge amounts of weight on our shoulders to breaking free and regaining our freedom. Nuclear Winter we're coming to take shine....." - Willie Maze
