(Video) @201Ransom - "Man Alone"

I thought I posted the video for this song when it dropped, but I actually only posted the audio. Now the internet is in a frenzy off one line in the record. That particular line reads as follows, "Before Nicki was wearing those crazy wigs/ I was doing verses for her, just hoping she made it big...". I'll be honest, when I first heard the record I thought to myself "oh wow I never knew Ransom ghostwrote for Nicki...", but then after some further thought I never recalled Ransom saying anything of the sort in his previous interviews. So the line was definitely taken out of context.
Regardless, I'm a big Ransom fan, I think dude is a beast. Even though it's revolving around a lot of bullshit, I'm kind of not mad at the exposure this story is getting him. Just might get a few more people to notice he's one of the best lyricists in the game, imo.

"Nuclear Winter represents many things. It represents dark times in our lives, it represents the state of NY hip hop & how I feel about it, & it represents my blueprint on how I think the music should be done going forward into the future. This is my manifesto to all the people that doubted me & the kryptonite to all selfishness. It's a journey from darkness into light, & from bondage & the huge amounts of weight on our shoulders to breaking free and regaining our freedom. Nuclear Winter we're coming to take shine....." - Willie Maze
